LaDale Kennedy, founder and co-owner of Infinity Dog Training and Education, began his dog training skills in the United States Army.  He also attended and graduated the Southern Ohio Academy of Dog Training where he received his certification in pet animal training.  He has more than thirty (30) years of dog training experience.  He has earned the respect of his colleagues through hard work and dedication.  Many business colleagues and friends say, "LaDale has a great rapport with animals and he is a great trainer."  Most importantly, LaDale has an extraordinary love for animals.

We focus on pets - so we concentrate on real-world training like teaching your dog to greet people nicely at the door, walk on a loose leash, and calmly accept the touch or a child, vet, or groomer rather than drill obedience exercises only used in competition rings.  We will teach you how to communicate your rules to your dog while enhancing the relationship between you and your four-legged "family member."  We will help you learn how your dog learns and how you can take advantage of all the good things you provide to get the behavior you want.

Our training objective is to consistently provide high customer satisfaction by rendering excellent service, quality pet care, and furnish a fun, clean, enjoyable atmosphere.

 Group Courses

Infinity Dog Training and Education offers several types of group courses - each designed to meet the needs of different pet owners.  Group courses follow a standard format and cover a wide range of topics. Most important, they provide a venue for socialization as well as an opportunity to teach your dog to focus in the face of distractions. All group courses are limited to eight (8) dogs, so that everyone can receive individual attention during class time. All dogs must have started their vaccination series (including parvo) and not be over due for the next in the series, and have a negative fecal test.  Courses will meet once a week for four consecutive weeks (except detailed, which runs six weeks) Each class will run approximately 30-60 minutes

Puppy Preschool

Get your puppy started on the right paw with early socialization and manners. This class is limited to young puppies (12 weeks to 20 weeks of age by start of class). At this age puppies will soak up learning when presented in a positive, rewarding manner. Puppies can learn the beginnings of sit, down, stay, walking without pulling on a leash, hey about house training, puppy biting, relax, true meaning of “NO” ~all done with positive reinforcement, and problem solving.  All your questions about puppy behavior will be answered, and puppies will get a chance to socialize-one of the most important factors for a well-behaved, happy puppy. Remember, the habits your puppy learns now are the ones he’ll have when full-grown as well. This is a great time to reward the habits you want to encourage. This course is $125.00 and runs for four (4) weeks. Each session is 30 minutes.

Fundamental Obedience Training

This is a basic level course for puppies (more than 24 weeks of age by the start of class) and adult dogs. This class covers all the basic behaviors for a well-behaved obedient dog. Sit, down, wait, stay, hey (attention), walking on loose leash, leave-it, and come will be taught reliably by voice command and without the use of treats, as well as some basic handling and husbandry skills. This course is $175.00 and runs for four (4) weeks. Each session is 45 minutes.

Detailed Obedience Training

This course is to ensure that you and your dog are developing a good, healthy relationship while teaching “ reliable” behaviors like sit, down, stand, wait, hey (attention), walking on a loose leash, leave-it, take it, heel and come-in addition to long distance recall, sit and down on the recall, moving commands, the beginning stages of off-leash obedience, and an introduction to implied  commands.  Learn proper dog handling and improve your skills under the guidance of our instructor.

Puppies more than six (6) months of age at the start of this course are welcome to attend the Detailed Obedience Training course. Detailed Obedience training courses are for dogs who have completed at least a basic level of obedience training. This course is $275.00 and runs for six (6) weeks. Each session is 45 minutes.

Ongoing Education

Ongoing Education courses are designed for clients who may have problems~old or new~ that may present themselves after completing an obedience program.  In these courses, we will concentrate on reliable attention from pet to owner. Play training will be a big part of these sessions.  You and your pet will attend one designated session per week for up to twelve months. Ongoing education sessions are for dogs six months and older that have completed any basic level training course. Ongoing education is $600.00. 

Confidence Building  - Level I

This course is designed to work on confidence building and trust between pet and owner. In this course, you will  learn the stress signs your dog may be showing and how to successfully give your dog the confidence to proceed forward in what may have been a stressful situation. Your dog will learn to  gain more confidence and fully trust you. This course is $275.00 and runs for 4 weeks. Each session is 45 minutes.

Canine Companion Preparation Course          

This course is designed to successfully prepare you for the various service dogs preliminary and actual testing. This course is $300.00 and runs for four (4) weeks. Each session is 45 minutes.
